Have I ever mentioned that newborn sessions usually top my list of favorites? Because, they totally do. Can anyone really resist the sweetness and love that radiates from these sessions?!
I arrived at the Czerwinski home on a chilly March morning to spend some time with baby Juliana, her brother Lincoln, and their proud parents for a newborn lifestyle session. Stepping through the door, it takes only seconds to sense the love and connection between this family. Homemade artwork hangs all around, reminders of their love for each other. Their home is warm, and welcoming, and a happy place.
Dad was downstairs with Juliana, and it didn't take long for Lincoln to come bounding down the stairs, eager to talk about his favorite color, and what he does at school. He told me all about his baby sister, and let me tell you, if there is one best big brother in the world, Lincoln is it!
We moved around the house throughout our session, spending some time in the living room, the nursery, and the master bedroom. Juliana settled in for a little nap, while Lincoln took short break to play with Mom, and then Dad, in his playroom. I spent some time capturing photos of Juliana with her Mom and Dad, and it was a beautiful thing. Watching parents bonding and connecting with their new baby is an incredible experience. And it was a such a joy to see how excited Lincoln was, to hold his sister and sing a song to her (the abcs, of course!).
We wrapped our time together with the family snuggled up in the master bedroom, and I said goodbye a couple minutes later, after Lincoln asked if I could come back again soon. 😊 I had such a great time getting to know this beautiful family, and I am so thankful for the time I got to spend with them.
If you are in the Erie area (Northwestern Pennsylvania) and are interested in an in-home newborn photography session, feel free to contact me. I would love to hear from you!
I'll leave you with a short film of our time together. Enjoy!
